The Atlantic Ocean Grand Raid took the Donnavventura team of travel reporters to Morocco and Cape Verde, after a spectacular beginning in the very heart of the newest part of Milan, Gae Aulenti Square, surrounded by futuristic skyscrapers.
Leaving Milan, the caravan first headed to France, eager to discover the fabled Cotè d’Azur in the Principate of Monaco. Then it was time to enjoy sunny Saint Tropez and take a cruise on a catamaran to Porquerolles Islands.
Back in Port Grimaud, the team enjoyed exciting horse rides all the way to Camargue and eventually reached beautiful Cadaqués, Spain. Following the beautiful coastline, the Donnavventura caravan then reached trendy Ibiza and Formentera, enjoying a fabulous cruise on an elegant yacht.
Portugal was the following location to visit, in particular Lisbon, Capo Sao Vicente and then Gibraltar with its massive Pillars of Hercules - the promontories that flank the entrance to the very Strait.
Soon the team reached Tangiers, in Morocco, then the blue mosque of Chefchaouen and the city of Fes. Driving across the very Sahara Desert, our brave reporters arrived in Merzouga and after some interesting sightseeing moved on to the coast. The lunard landscapes of Dakhla and the endless charm of Cap Barbas proved truly unforgettable as well.
Later on, everybody took a flight to Cape Verde, eager to discover its Creole heritage.
Eventually, the Donnavventura team traveled back to Morocco and briefly stopped in Agadir, Essaouira and Casablanca. The expedition officially ended when the Donnavventura caravan entered beautiful Jemaa El Fna Square, in Marrakech.
