After ten hectic days in Valle d’Aosta, the final selection weekend and the training week, we are thrilled to introduce the protagonists of the new expedition.
The new team of the 30th Anniversary expedition of Donnavventura will be a special one, made of young Donnavventura reporters between 21 and 24, supported by the two veterans. A team ready to give life to the next TV series that promises to be extremely on top of what’s current, young, digital and socia,
Andrea Brancone,, the newly-appointed "Acting Coach", covered the role of audio/video reporting assistant during the “simulated expedition” week up there in the mountains; as a matter of fact, a special TV episode of Donnavventura now covers the very Valle d'Aosta for the first time. The audience will thus discover the enchanted Fenis Castle, Cervinia, la Magdalene deep blue lake, Gressoney Saint Jean – already featured as one of the top travel destinations by Touring Club Italiano – and the Savoia’s Castle. The newly-appointed reporters visited also the famous Walser settlements and met the locals, while century-old lace embroidery traditions were discovered in the cosy village of Cogne . Last but not least, the famous botanical garden in the Gran Paradiso Mountain park offered most unique examples of the beautiful local flora
From the "base camp" in La Thuile the girls took off by helicopter to admire the Mont Blanc and its glaciers from above.Near the Piccolo San Bernardo pass, they reached the Verney mountain pasture and took active part in the preparation of Valle d'Aosta’s “fontina” cheese. Finally, in the village of Pila they attended an engaging downhill race.
